Slow Roasted Halibut
Anne and I cooked this halibut and honestly, it was as if we were in a restaurant. It was so delicious. It looked beautiful, it tasted light, fresh and like summer. The Pimm’s Cup (or 2) might have helped make it feel like summer, too! Happy Memorial Day!

Hockey Free Night
I wanted to make Dave a delicious home-cooked dinner, so I went to his fav- steak. One or both of us has been out of the house watching hockey every night for the last month but now that the Penguins are out, I’ll return to the kitchen.

Roasting Day
In order to gear up for week three of my detox, I roasted the crap out of everything I could … tons of fresh veggies, pumpkin seeds and almonds, and chicken breasts - now I’m all set up for the week.
Only issue is that we’re headed to the Phillies/Giants baseball game tonight and I don’t know if I can pull out a container of stinky roasted broccoli. What a great...
DETOX
So, I am 13 days into a detox - no gluten, caffeine, sugar, dairy or alcohol. It has been an interesting experiment to say the least. I have also been advised (by a nutritionist) to start my day with Himalayan Salt and anyone who knows me, knows that is like a little gift every morning!!
