Bake n Bitch with the ladies. Alexis hosted us in Mill Valley and we had a fabulous time! I love this group of women and their kids (and more on the way!) We sat around and chatted for the first few hours then got to the baking. Kindly, the group embraced my gluten-freeness and so we made a gluten free chocolate cake for Kathy’s birthday - I had to go to work before we could properly ice the thing, totally my fault it looks so hysterical. Although the batter was awful the actual cake was gooooood.
Then we made gluten free thumb print cookies which were delicious - it was such a good cookie that I would never have guessed they were GF! I will post the recipe later …
Three of the five of us had trouble sleeping last night because we were so excited to get together and it never feels like it’s enough time but thanks friends, for another enriching experience!
